FLOWER PRESS: BIRD

- The flower press is used to dry leaves and flowers flat to make a herbarium. After unscrewing the wooden screws on the bottom of the press, lay the leaves and flowers flat between the layers of cardboard. Replace the screws and tighten. Leave to dry for about 2 to 3 days and check that the plants are no longer wet. If necessary, leave for a few more days. To prevent the development of mould, place the press in a dry and ventilated area.
