- This metallophone consists of 8 metal slats supported by a natural wood support (FSC).
Each slat corresponds to a musical note (C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C). To differentiate them, each slat has a colour code and a letter (engraved on the slat).
In order to discover its first scales, 4 scores are supplied with the metallophone: "À vous dirais-je Maman", "Au clair de la lune", "Une poule sur un mur" and "Vive le vent". These scores include the colour and letter codes of each slat. This practice (close to the rainbow method) allows children to learn music theory in a playful way. This learning method is intended for children from 3 years old.
The 2 sticks provided can be stored on the side of the metallophone in a reserved place to avoid losing them.
